Double Emmy award winning and Oscar-nominated Simon Blackwell wrote the hit HBO Comedy, Veep, which he co-executive produced with Armando Iannucci. He is currently writing a major new Channel 4 sitcom for Mitchell and Webb, currently called ‘Back', and is working on a film adaptation of David Copperfield for BBC Films with Armando. He was chief writer for The Thick Of It and wrote numerous episodes of Peep Show. Simon co-wrote the multi-award-winning In The Loop and also created Armstrong & Miller's streetwise WWII pilots. Hugely in demand on both sides of the Atlantic.
