Celia's stand-up performances have garnered numerous awards since her 2009 show 'Am I Strange' won Best Comedy and Age Critics’ Awards at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. In 2014 her show ‘Let Me Know How It All Works Out’ was nominated for the Barry Award at the Melbourne festival.

Celia also works extensively in television, co-starring as in Australian series Laid, Offspring and most recently Utopia. She is also a regular guest on shows such as Rove, The Project, and Talkin' 'Bout Your Generation (in Australia) and Russell Howard’s Good News and Never Mind The Buzzcocks (in the UK).
